Crappie?
My first attempt at trying to hook this paper-mouthed fish was unsuccessful. The locator showed schools of fish in various parts of the lake where my guides expected them to be found. Depth - 10-15 feet. However, rain had delayed our launch and pursuit, and evidently their little bellies were full, or they were napping.
